Eli Feldpausch, age 6, of Rome, ME caught and released this 15-pound, 33-inch lake trout at a lake in Franklin County on June 25, 2022 after a tense battle during which the young man struggled to turn the reel’s handle, and proclaimed, “The fish is going to take out all the line!” Eli was accompanied by his dad, Maine Guide Anthony Feldpausch.
