Bentley Lane of Hartland was hunting in his hometown on October 25, 2025 when he shot this mammoth 233-lb., 8-pt. whitetail buck with a .30-’06. The giant deer’s weight was certified at the Moosehead Trail Trading Post, on the Oxbow Road in Palmyra, and it easily surpassed the requirements to qualify for the Biggest Bucks in Maine patch club. Bentley, age 15, was accompanied by his Dad. Congratulations on your accomplishment, Bentley!
